Who we are

Really, our Nano Banana doppelgangers aren't too off.

Sal Magnone

Founder, Director of Data, AI, and Quantum Engineering

Sal's LinkedIn profile reads: "Co-Founder, Engineer, Veteran. I build multinational technology companies and run obstacle courses." That's about right — Sal co-founded two successful technology companies, one around machine learning in the insurance space, and one around embedded real-time software in the defense space. And maybe one or two that weren't so successful. When he isn't running obstacle courses, he teaches at the university level and keeps the rest of us from playing with matches near the acetylene.

Nicole Tedesco

Robotics SME

Few people know more about deploying robotic and device technology than Nicole. She's been at it most of her career. At ARCA she was responsible for defining and implementing a "robotics as a service" business model and a set of enabling technologies. At CalvIO she developed business plan and technical model to reduce cost and complexity of robotic manufacturing, programming, and system roll-out, eliminating 50% of software-related costs, and reducing time-to-delivery by 80%. At the legendary Boeing Phantom Works she built things she can't tell us about.

Alex is a rocket scientist. No really. He worked on the Space Shuttle program. That was before he joined Steve Jobs at NeXT — he is very proud of still having two working examples — and then followed him back to Apple where Alex helped build the iTunes store. He's been a speaker at technology summits and on radio shows, and has spoken at international conferences on enterprise mobile development and security.

Meiling Zhang

Quantum Engineering SME

Elite crossfitter, and also a big runner of obstacle courses, Mei is the kind of engineer that senior engineers ask for advice. Her workspace is often covered in small parts, some burnt, and smells of solder. True story — She once tried to move us to a hanger because our office lease precluded welding. Also those scanners at the airport don't like her. She co-founded her last two successful companies with Sal. She is currently the founder of a stealthy but ridiculously well funded quantum computing company in the defense space, and our Quantum SME.
